Hello ive just purchased this great game from Gamersgate. It mentions that the DG games are preloaded and i see theres a file in the FoG directory called Games and all the list of DG games are there from this series with all their files. But how do you install or set them up in the list of scenarios with the others or where do i put these games files in the main directory? Hope someone can help thank you.

DG Games??

All the battles are available from the main game menu. If you tamper with the games file system you are in danger of causing a corruption that may force a re-install.

Did you click 'check for updates' from the main game menu after installing?

I think you mean the DAG - the DAG comes with 2 armies in the base game. Each expansion you buy adds 20-30 armies. These allow you to design the army and then take it to battle in single & multiplayer. Each expansion also adds 6-15 new scenarios.

Does that clarify?

Hello yes thanks for the reply. I was confused at first seeing some of the DAG scenarios in the Game folder with my game. I havent messed anything around now and i have properly installed the game with the proper updater patch connection.

One other thing if a person on this site creates a scenario from one of the DAG expansion packs, can you still download and play that scenario if you havent got that expansion? Hope you can understand what i mean? Otherwise i hope to get into the game and play against others here once ive sorted myself out thanks.

Yes, you can even design scenarios using troops from other DAG's you dont have yourself.

If you dont mind me asking are the DAG expansions really for scenario creations or do they improve the whole game itself? So do you only really need them for just creating scenarios? If you dont go in for creating scenarios you dont really need them? Thanks for any replies.

You ned the DAG expansions to play the DAG games for the armies covered by each DAG pack. Also they add a number of historical battles as well.

To clarify: You only need the DAG expansion if you want to play those armies, you can accept and battles against those armies even without the expansion.
