It all starts with the release of a demo version of its critically acclaimed and award winning strategy game, Panzer Corps. The demo includes 6 missions from the Bootcamp Campaign, plus the invasion of Poland and the first few turns of the Norway scenario. The transition between the first two scenarios of the main campaign allows players to upgrade their army between scenarios and get a feel for how units improve and gain experience as they travel from battle to battle. While a little sting for everyone who paid 200% of that price for Panzer Corps, I think it's a great move and a great pick - get the word out about this sale on as many places as possible, I think $20 will get many more people interested than $40 did. Hopefully we'll see an influx of people on these boards - and mucho dinare for you guys.

Maybe next year or in two you'll make a Field of Glory bundle offer for $100 or something, with ALL expansions in one go?

Anyway, really cool to see you guys doing an actual sale worth bearing that name, I definately hope it pays out for you.

Everyone that has been a wargamer for at least a year should know that Matrix Games (partnered with Slitherine) has a holiday sale for the most part.

It makes it a fun time of the year for wargamers as they can look forward to a few titles that they might have needed to put a hold on.

Kudos to the Matrix Games/Slitherine team for the holiday cheer.

Told people on Amazon.de to download the demo!

Too bad I just couldn't tell them of the sale here, putting prices or recommendations like "buy at Slitherine for 50% off" are just not allowed in Amazon reviews.

No, that's DLC '41.

DLC '42 not yet officially announced.

I'm one of those who wait...

But only because i own an Imac - would have bought the game right on release... even for 49€.

What ever - my xmas 2011 will happen without Panzers.

I am afraid we will have to push our tanks relentlessly forward to test the 42 DLC with our "own" core forces!

Is there a newer PC demo available? I would like to try the most recent version of the game, unfortunately the newest demo is only version 1.04.

Should the demo installer be working on Win8 - box disappears, screen back to blue and loading desktop...
