How do you think we should name garrison units?

This is a poll about a question that won´t have any influence in game balance since it is regarding to the naming of units.

IMO, as I have explained in the specific thread about this question the most accurate term would be Static Corps and for the reasons pointed in that thread. A Regiment sized or even a Battalion sized unit could be considered garrisons of a city, sea port, air base, etc. But when we refer to larger territories to cover then we should use another name instead of garrisons. German Hoheres Kommandos were corps sized units with a territorial role so they did not have offensive capabilities nor motorised equipment: that´s why the reduced movement. These german units would pretty match with the concept of Static Corps. The same could be said for Wehrkreiskommandos or the american Service Command Corps.

This question could have more importance depending on the new amphibious rules will allow or not the garrison units to land anywhere but only in friendly sea ports.

To mention again that this a question of accuracy in the terms used for the respective units in CEAW. Garrison is referred to a reduced territory to cover. So no garrison unit in WW2 was a corps sized unit. Mainly it was used Brigade, Regiment or Battalion sized units for garrisoning a city, a resource or a sea port. That´s why many guys in the forum have reported that in a corps sized game the term garrison is not the best. People new in the game could get even more confused if they see garrison performing landing operations in USA east coast.

For further info about the term garrison see this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garrison

      voted "other".
Germany already have Armeekorps name, USSR - rifle corps, UK - HG.
Just add something for USA and will be fine.

It is not about naming units but about naming a kind of units. So we have armour units, mech corps units, infantry units and garrison units. This last one name (garrison) IMO does not make much sense in a corps level game: this is question this poll is about.

Anyway, it seems that the people is so used to the term garrison in CEAW that a change in this question does not like them much.
