we have a big surprise for you!

We have a demo of Panzer Corps in beta testing! This is top secret so please do not say anything outside of this beta forum. We will be announcing it is coming next week. The planned release date is 22nd November.

The demo can be downloaded from :

It is a password protected rar with the password:
pzc-demo-10-11-11

This should be installed to a new folder and not overwrite your existing files.

The demo allows you to play the tutorial campaign, the grand campaign through Poland and up to turn 3 of Norway. It allows you to load up saves from the demo and continue them with the full game. The editors is included but the demo cannot load up maps created in the editor or any other scenarios than the ones listed. Multiplayer is disabled.

Please tell us if you see any issues at all. It is fully localised in to English and German. If you think there is anything we could do to make it more appealing and encourage people to buy let us know. We don;t have much time but we may be able to make changes if the ideas are good enough!

Please play the demo from start to finish and try and break it

Well, will try! But between DLC '41, FoG2, and CEaW GS2.1, it's almost getting to the point where I need to submit a wages bill to you!!!

I will start on this this weekend! Very good, I have been telling friends about the game but they would like a demo! When we are done I shall point them to it!

Thanks! With the whole family down sick with the flu this weekend, I should have plenty of time to run it through it's paces.

Downloaded it twice (very slow server) and i get corrupt file when trying to unrar it..

I checked the rar before uploading - anyone else having this issue?

About 10 minutes to download and then installed/ran just fine

It downloaded and Ran for me as well.

Guys what is more important to test first, the DLC 41 or the Demo?
I can install one and setup a virtual machine for the other, however I would like to focus on one.
Let me know.

If you can give the demo a quick pass first that would be great. We have to finalise it next week. 1941 has a few more days.

No, the files unpacked and installed perfectly on my pc.

I think it is an amazing idea to even put in some DLC content in this demo. Hitting two targets with one single shot!

I agree I am excited for the demo. As I said I have been trying to get my friends to buy on my words alone, however a little taste of the game for them I am sure will tip the scales!

What is the main difference with the previous demo we had ?

In the original game I always skipped the demo because found it too long (I never went until the end).
This time I saw it from the beginning til the end, this is really good but I wonder how different it is from the original demo, did you add something ?

Great work of course but keep in mind the game itself is much more important than the demo.
However yes this demo is appealing, "sexy" for wargamers enthusiasts!

Ah! Been too fast and too optimistic - I apologize Ian, it was me that wanted to read that there are some of the DLC maps in this demo

where is the link to the update for the 41beta or do we just check for updates in the original game menu?

The demo downloaded/unpacked/installed fine. The intro movie runs fine and the game seems to play fine (worked through first few turns of Poland).
