Woops wrong book

So I thought I was buying the Ancients book and ended up with the FOG Renaissance Book
Can you use the REN rules to play Ancients games? Or no?
Reason I ask is I own some small Ancient armies currently.

No.
Whilst the majority of the rules are the same, there are enough that are different, average troops supporting superior troops & shock troops not having to roll a cohesion test to avoid charging to name but two.

Consider yourself lucky and try out the rules. I think they are a lot of fun. Of course the Ancient rules are good as well but I prefer FoGR!

We are a conservative bunch of bunnies....but I am trying to at least expand our horizons (and time frame)!
