Elite Unit Attributes

For most units I can figure out what attributes they get once they reach elite status. But for the life of me, I cannot see any difference in an elite British Paratroop and a basic Brit Para (the same can be said for the Recce Jeep). Is there a list somewhere of attributes for Elite units?
Thanks!

Only inside the squads.csv file for the campaign. At the far right are the abilities enabled by being Elite. Looking at the file they get an additional Action point, the elite assault skill making them better at assaults and elite recon so they can move full speed while hunting. Pretty impressive!

Hi is there a way to have the owner (and only the owner not the enemy) see a visual mark, besides the stripes that denote the upgraded status?
Or how many stripes or type of ensignia denotes those upgraded attributes?

I'm not sure what you mean. What would any other indicators show?

When a unit gets promoted after a combat it shows more stripes. (ie chevrons on the arms of soldiers) Do these increase as the unit gains
status? Like Veteran, and Elite? Since my units do not last that long I have yet to get units to those levels.
So how many stripes make a Veteran or an Elite ? Maybe when when you click on a unit it shows in the graphic at the bottom what the status is.
So a veteran could be lower Sargent stripes, and the Elite be Master Sargent stripes.

I've seen up to three stripes. Usually they are my opponent's units
Veteran, elite, and what else?

I finally found the spreadsheet in the folder that was specified above, but it was difficult to decipher and it is not user friendly. Is there a consolidated table for this? Also, I couldn't find definitions for each elite attribute. Example: one of my units is elite and has Elite Sniper...but what exactly does that allow my unit to do?
Overall, this is an EXCELLENT game...I just want to know what my Elite units are capable of doing.
Thanks!

Gentlemen,
I made a quick reference image for the two Action's for an Elite Unit ...
The subtle bonus that units gain are just listed afterwards ...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elite Shot ... (extra shot).
Elite AP ... (25% extra action points).
Elite Hunter ... (Tanks Sneak faster).
Elite Recon ... (Sneak for Free, Automatically turns on Sneak/Hunt mode by default).
Elite Assault ... (Assault Cost reduced by 50%).
Elite Overrun ... (Tanks can Overrun Infantry in Open)... (Silver and Gold).
There's an "Elite Medic" ability but I don't see it being used (maybe Revive Bonus replaced this?).
Hope this helps (for now). The list for each type of unit that can do the subtle abilities is awefully long.

To comment about the subject of not knowing what an Elite can do ...
There really needs to be a little icon or something in the unit UI box or perhaps when you CTRL-Right Click for the Info box, showing what the player can expect to gain.
No need to keep secrets from the player

Is there an updated manual?
So far on the Mac side it seems to be the old version.
And thanks for the great info. I think if we could add medals or some other icon to the unit status
to show these different attributes would enhance the game a lot.

You make a good point - we should probably add some Mac details to the manual. The laying out can be a pain though. It might be that we need a more fluid method of documentation.
I will add the manual and some additional info in the unit panel to the todo list.
Cheers

Or maybe a wiki?
