Oxford Doubles 2012

The Oxford Doubles are going to take place around April next year.

We are trying to sort out the options for the FOG R competition.

The two options are: -

1) The House of Romanov 1613 to 1699 AD
The following lists are the armies that can be used

Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth (C of E)
Early Russian (C of E)
Vasa Swedish (C of E)
Qing (C&C)
Korean (C&C)
Later Danish (D & G)
Later Swedish (D & G)
Later German States (D & G)
Later Danish (D & G)
Habsburg Austrian Imperial (D & G)
Later Polish Lithuanian (D & G)
Later Russian (D & G)

Cossacks (C & E)
Tatars (C of E)
Venetian Colonial (D & G)
Hungarian Kuric Rebellion (D & G)
Later Ottoman Turkish (C of E)

2) The Wars of Alexis Mikhailovich and Peter the Great 1645 to 1699 AD

The following lists are the armies that can be used: -

Korean (C&C)
Later Danish (D & G)

Hey, these various nations weren't C of E - they were Roman Catholic, Russian Orthodox, Lutheran, Sunni Muslim - but not C of E!

Have not voted as I don't know if I will be attending (with reallife I doubt it). Were I to be attending I would vote for 1 rather than 2 as I believe you will get more takers.

Well the result of the vote is a clear winner for option 1.

Hi Bob,

Just starting to think about this one and I have a question. Do any Allies have to come from the same set of lists, or can any Allies allowed by the main list be used?

Hi Kevin

as far as I am concerned any list for the ally as the main list is tight enough. As far as list checking all lists to me

I have been deserted by my partner, who has gone back to the dark side (after forcing me to do so at Burton).
