I've just put together a scenario for the Battle of Taginae - between the Byzantine Empire and the Ostrogothic Kingdom in Italy.
It is the first time that I have tried to create a custom scenario using FoG and so I would be grateful if someone could check it out. It is still an early version. I expect to make some changes over the weekend - and write a description etc.
It can be downloaded from here:

Hi, Can you email the files to
keith@hexwar.com and I'll have a look at in for inclusion in the final release. The link you used always fails for me

Me too! I could not get the files. I wish that this forum allowed you to attach files like my club forum does. Makes life easier for us.

The link has failed for me today as well. So I've e-mailed you the files.

I've uploaded the latest version of my scenario to Rapidshare:

Hopefully the link will work this time.

I played it against the AI. Nice battle. I cannot testify to the accuracy of the battle/armies composition but it was a fun battle.
Your map may need some sprucing up. Maybe a few trees here and there or some sort of road. Nice short affair which would be fun to replay every so often.

My original map was based upon a miniatures scenario. I've since found a board game of the battle with a more interesting map.
Here is the latest version of my map and scenario:

I've also made some subtle changes to the Byzantine forces which may give them the edge - although the two armies are close in terms of VPs.

Great, I will take a peek at it sometime today or tomorrow.
