Downloaded update and installed the update. when I tried to start the game got a bad CRC error message with instructions to reinstall. ???

Check the file size of the update:
PanzerCorpsWehrmacht-Update-v104.exe
328.228.541 bytes
Probably you got a corrupted download.
You should uninstall Panzer Corps (remember to backup your save games) and install it again.
Then install 1.04 after having download it again.
Sometimes the AV programs interfere with the downloading and the install.

Website says file size is smaller
Okay when you check the properties it agrees, but the game still does not work with the editor.

Byte size and MB size will vary significantly. E.g. 328,000,000 bytes is 313MB. This is because a KB is 1024 bytes, not 1000 and a MB is 1024 KB, not 1000.

Finally got it updated. Reinstalled the game ran 1.00 just fine. downloaded the update directly from matrix and kept getting the bad crc. After about the third time I did the update inside the game and it finally worked.
