Was wondering if there any plans to release balanced multiplayer map packs in the future? I'd defiently pick up more of those to compliment the Grand Camampaign 39 and 40 I just picked up!

EDIT: No dice!
A lot of the big balance changes that came with 1.04 affect Mid War (1941-1943) and it wouldn't be out of the question to create more content that is centered on those years, especially as the DLC campaign moves towards those years with Grand Campaign 1942 and Grand Campaign 1943.

It has a terrible habit of fragmenting the community, splitting it between those with the DLC maps, and those without them. The alternative is that anyone can play on the DLC maps, provided their opponent has purchased them. That just sounds unfair, and we might end up with more ugly situations where people just pirate the maps and distribute them freely anyways. All they are is maps, after all.
If we can come up with an acceptable solution for a DLC MP Map Pack, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.
Another idea would just be to add more multiplayer maps into the base game as part of a mandatory (and free) patch.

Thanks for the reply Kerenskey! A free multiplayercontent patch would be a nice gesture and the price is right

Basicly, what I would be looking for as a fellow gamer is a nice set of maps that are profesionaly designed and balanced. Personaly I would pay for them however you have enlightened me to the challenges a paid multiplayer dlc would bring. I'm definetly of the opinion that it is more important to preserve the community. If a solution were to surface to where there would be more multiplayer content that would be a grand bonus however! Thankfuly we have some great map designers in the community..playing one of razz1 maps against him at the moment and having a good time with it!

That gives me an idea, lemme talk to my bosses. Maybe we can have some kind of official 'map' contest.

At the same time, it could be usefull to create some feedback topcis for each mutliplayer map. What players think about them, what they like, or may want to change etc.
Such that some sort of improvement process is started (balancing wise)

If its one thing that would be really exciting its more balanced multiplayer maps. I would like to see mulitplayer scenarios from all periods of the war, equipment in early and mid war makes for more interesting situations if you ask me.
I particularly like the scenarios where both players must atttack to win (meeting in the middle). Howver for some reason Bersaglieri vs. the Bear is a very entertaining scenerio.

Nope sorry guys. Looks like there are other plans in the works.
Just remember what I said here was personal opinion only, after all.
