Hi,
i am wondering how the prestige gain works on MP maps.
afaik u get a fixed amount of prestige every round and extra prestige for capturing a city/air port the first time?!
reconquering doesn't give u prestige, right?
where can i see how much prestige i get on each map?

The scenario designer designates how much prestige is given each turn, or on which turn/s. It could be in the scenario description but not always.
By default,
Flags = 50 prestige
Objectives (gold border) = 100 prestige
You CAN get prestige - once- by reconquering a hex you owned at the beginning of a game.
Unless you add up all the flags/objectives yourself, or the designer is nice enough to do it for you, there is currently no way to automate the total prestige a map offers.

is it possible to look it up in the editor or so?
i don't wanna know the total prestige of the map but how much you get per round.
On HV u get 750 each round so u can spend everything, but on other maps u get far less so you should save something in the begining.
is it the same with the weather?
Does each map has a specific likelihood for eacht weather event?

You should be able to look up all of these settings in the editor.
The 10 special purpose MP maps included with your installer generally do not have surprise triggers, for good reason. Knowing about them gives an advantage, and not knowing about them only serves to damage a person's first time experience on the map with nasty surprises.
So while it is possible to set prestige boosts, reinforcements, weather changes, and other 'triggers' these are not invoked in the MP maps.
To find the details, you can look inside 'edit scenario parameters'.
This has starting prestige, per turn prestige, weather conditions, everything all set.
To find the triggers, which in HV for example is blank, you can look inside the 'actions' tab of 'edit scenario parameters'

thx alot. i checked it out.
for the random reader: there are weather triggers on some MP maps and the weather differs from map to map.
are weather events indepentent? So is it as likely to get rainy day after a sunny day as it i s after a cloudy one?
