ERROR message

I have downloaded the new update and the game will not load up now at all I click on my shortcut and it comes up with error message VRESION MISMATCH (0).
what have I done wrong and how can it be fixed.

I just got a message flash up whilst on the web.
Unhandled Exception ExpCode: 0x80000003 ExpFlags:0 ExpAddress:0x76E9884E

Which update did you apply? I would suggest grabbing the full 1.6.0 update from the sticky at the top of the main forum and applying that. It should fix the problem.

I have tried reinstalling update 1.6.0 and 1.6.1 and the arnhem update that I purchased, all say game upto date but still keep getting same errer message.
Should I just uninstall the game completely and start from scratch

This error message means your exe file is mis matched with your data files. Somehow one has updated and the other not.
The only way to be sure its all sorted is to uninstall, then completely delete the BA folder from Program Files. Then reinstall.
Maybe something became write protected at some point and the patch is unable to update it.
