Cannot load beta 1 or 2 saves with beta 3. Not sure it is a bug, reporting it anyway ;)

so far the recon 222 and the PZ JGR 1 do not make sounds when shooting. The animation shows the muzzle blast but no sounds.

Hmm, cannot repro. Anyone else having this problem?

It occurred in the first game after download. Decided to try France in field marshal. Eben Emael scenario. Played a few turns did not save game.
Started second campaign in Poland on General, so far no sound issues. Perhaps an oddity after the download??

The same sound issue happened to me in the Eben Emael scenario, back in the beta 2 build. It only ever occurred in that particular scenario.

With beta 2 there was an error in the last line (Eben_Emael.png) of the efx file. That was corrected with beta 3.

Still there are some errors with the efx file:
SdKfz_222.png, SdKfz_231_6Rad.png, SdKfz_233_8Rad.png, SdKfz_234-1_8Rad.png, SdKfz_234-2_8Rad.png
All of these have the value "leg" in the Air Anim 1. "leg" is only for movement and for infantry.

Similar issue here. When Eban Emael is concluded by DV or MV, instead of continuing the campaign, the game returns to the main game menu. I tried saving/reload, auto save load etcwith no success. I moved the save game files to another directory, reinstalled beta3 and campaigns. Replayed and had same problem.

You are playing in german too, or this happened to you in english mode?

2all people having issues in german mode: please try to download fixed german equipment file from http://www.rudankort.me/equipment.pzeqp and place in Localization/de/Data subfolder of your beta installation. This should fix the problem. If not, please let me know.

I tried to reproduce BriteLite's bug but can't confirm it, Eben-Emael worked for me.

I started the 1940 Campaign in German, played a turn and ended with endscn 0. No errors, the game continued to the next map.

However... @Rudankort, I downloaded http://www.rudankort.me/equipment.pzeqp and placed it in the localization folder.
The result was devastating, I can't even start the 1940 campaign in German with the supposedly fixed .pzeqp file. Stuck at main screen.

I copied the english .pzeqp file in the German localization folder and voila, the game worked again.
-> The German .pzeqp file is the culprit and still buggy.

That's weird, 1940 campaign surely works for me with the updated file. Maybe something bad happened with the file as it was downloaded and/or copied to the target folder?

I must apologize; it works.

I downloaded again and you are right, it happened during the download. I did not right click but open the file in the browser and saved it. This way it got saved as .txt file... not the ending, but that corrupted the file nevertheless... doh. My bad!

The updated file http://www.rudankort.me/equipment.pzeqp works.

I endscn 0-ed myself through the whole 1940 campaign and both British/French path worked.
The only thing I didn't test was what happens if I await orders in Dunkirk instead of attacking.

Can't test more before tonight, my laptop is sometimes needed as extra screen for work.

Going to unstick this thread, DLC 1941 will have a new one once it's ready for testing.
Thanks again for all your help! :D

My wife says I never look hard enough for things before asking her where something is----nevertheless, I can't see a new DLC bug thread yet, so I will report a small one here :)

In the first scenario (Yugoslavia), playing at Sgt level (I like to get through tests quickly), I found that two Yugoslavian cities did not convert to German control when occupied by tanks and infantry (at least, their flags stayed Yugo).

The cities are:

Novi Sad (1,13)
Ruma (1,17)

The Yugoslavia and Romania flags are kinda similar. Are you sure they weren't Romanian Flags?
Also, what unit did you use to capture these cities? Artillery and Air Defense units cannot capture flags.

For sure it was the Yugoslavian flag; the Romanian units were not used to capture any cities in western Yugoslavia. The units used were a German PzIV and a Wehrmacht infantry.

I tried to re-create it, and this time things worked properly. So while I cannot repeat it, and cannot explain it, I am absolutely 100% positive that when it occurred in my previous game, I used appropriate units to occupy the cities in question.

I have a saved game from turn six (the only one I have for that scenario) and it shows one city occupied by a Stug, and the one south of it about to be.

Interestingly, when I loaded the saved game this time, I backed the Stug out of the occupied city, re-occupied it, and the flag converted to German. But should it not convert as soon as a German tank or inf moves in?
