Nikivdd beta3 DLC GC 1939

Beta3 installer works like a charm. I installed it under (c:\slitherine...). I didn't chose the default path.
The DLC packages don't automatically know where i installed the beta3. It also wanted to install them into the default path. Had to manually correct it.
Started GC 1940 but decided not to begin here when i laid eyes on the starting core. Tastes differ, i just didn't like the core composition.
With the GC 1939 , i can shape it more personally.
Another idea might be that the player can pick his core units from scratch (within a given amount of prestige points), deploy them and start the first mission.
So this time i decided to play GC 1939 on general difficulty (for Beta1 and 2 i played on colonel difficulty).
Poznan.
There are 4 slots available but only filled 3 with a Sturmpz I, Ju87B and Bf109e. No prestige left to fill the 4th slot. No worries, because this mission is for beginners (as it should be not to discourage). The enemy never makes you sweat since, i suppose, a lot of those units are on passive/defender mode. I also decided to use only normal replacements during gameplay and elite replacements during the deployment phase. Some people might already do so, i don't know, but to me it is something new to try. Anyway, i finished this assignment in 11/14 turns and 924 pp. An excellent opener.
Danzig corridor.
I only upgraded the 7,5cm artillery to a sturmpz I. Two core slots i filled up with a pz38(t) and a Bf110c. This mission is not so easy as it appears on first glance. Especially that little counter-attack left my newly gained SE unit with strength 2. Two tankettes went to the vicinity of Bydgoszcz to attack my aux tank, which was finished off by the AT gun next to the town. That was a bummer even more since the AA gun on the airfield (11,18) caused quite some stir to several of my planes. It took me several turns to knock it out.
A great mission,it left a scar to my core tanks which are all reduced to half strength. I finished the mission in 11/14 turns and 1336PP.
