What does the game consider a win in the campaign?

Hey,

I've played Guderian through with couple decisive mostly marginal and now toward the end a loss. So I've been assigned to defend Germany East...

Anyway... Is a win beating Britain, Russia and USA?

Thanks.

The best possible game outcome is a decisive win in the USA West scenario. Look up the thread with the campaign plan elsewhere on this forum or check the in game library campaign info if you need an overview of the various paths.

Basically was wondering if defending Germany results in "winning" the campaign. I lost in Lake Balaton and i dont think i attacked England mainland at all.

There are different "winning" campaigns.

A perfect win would involve the invasion of Britain and USA in the end.

However, early marginal wins instead of decisive could cost you the Britain invasion, but still end up with a USA invasion.

It sounds like you are on the defensive campaign now, but that still can result in a "win" by successfully defeating the Russian and Normandy invasions.

I would say any result that alters history would be considered a win. :)

Darn perfectionists. :)
