Historical weather?

Somebody on the general forum was asking about the possibility for historical weather so I figured to put the question up here as well.
So, any chance for non-random weather as one of the start up options? Personally I don't mind that much but I'm sure there's at least a few gamers out there who would like the possibility.

I believe main problem with historical weather is that it will be 100% known to both sides in advance.
It is way more unrealistic, then traditional randomness.

Very much agree but some players still like to have the option.

So the next question is which side does that favor? The Axis or the Allies?

Hmm... I think a slight advantage for Allies as Russian weather would be bad in October and '39 Western Blitz being impossible. Also, even Sitzkrieg would be delayed to April. On the other hand some early '43-'45 bad weather in West as well I believe. Doubt they would cancel each out though... would need some more checking.
Any comment on the coding part since I'm very noobish with that? Worth the effort or not?

Personally I'm opposed to non-random weather as that's too predictable.
