I'm sure I've seen some somewhere, but anyone know a source of flags (images or flag sheets) for the Austrians around the time of the War of the League of Augsburg/Nine Years War or the War of the Spanish Succession?

Nik, you should look at the Pike and Shot society book on the Austrian army which includes standards as well as uniforms.
Pricey but nice.

Yes, Austrian flags can be found on the CD from Baccus. "Uniforms and Flags of the Imperial Austrian Army 1683-1720" by Robert Hall and Giancarlo Boeri. It costs about 25 GBP for which you get 318 pages of information including 56 pages of colour plates showing various interpretations of uniforms, according to different sources, for ordinary soldiers, troopers and musicians plus flags - all by regiment. The text includes actions, where known, for each regiment as well. All of these CDs offered by Baccus are a fantastic source of information for the period.

I think Nik is just cheap...
However he does write better than Dan Brown (but then so do most 8 year olds...)

Hi Nick try this link, the flags are from the WSS but I'm sure they will do.

Got the CD thing morning - excellent service from Baccus - and it looks really good. The flags in the colour plates should scan nicely to print out at a suitable size for my figures.
