Looks nice the difference in altitude. How you call it? Does it have different parameters?

Looks good but the swamp hex seems to be on top of a ridge between two depressions - not usual swamp behaviour - or is this just a mock-up? Is there a reason for doing this on this map, or is it more to try new things?

These tiles are not in the core terrain set so cant be used in any DLC, unless Lukas is working on something I'm unaware of?

Actually they are in the core terrain set.
It's just a combination of tiles and overlays that is not currently in use.

Another possible solution.

Thoughts on this appearance?

Ok talked to Alex and it is the coast tiles without a water background :)

We can't use them for now. Maybe we can add this terrain type later but as it is they have no gameplay effect and look like they should so would be confusing.

The gold borders seems ok for this - but to make it clear to the player so they don't try to 'capture' one of these hexes, maybe some icon in that location instead? Unless you object to adding any art assets at this point...

The objective has been updated, and this is how the map now looks, with fortification tiles as the capture zones.

Are all of those hexes capture zones or just one of them? If just one is a capture zone hex then I would not put the capture zone hex so close to other hexes with the side marker to make it stand out better. Alternatively mark it Neutral initially. This will make it stand out better.

Any one of them is a suitable capture hex, as well as their adjacent tiles. It's quite a large 'zone' so people should not have a problem finding it, especially now.

Can't make it neutral initially though, this section of the map is the German deployment area.
