beta feedback

First thank you for the chance to beta test...this was really cool and I hope it has helped. Next I am listing my feedback below:

1) I was expecting the 39 campaign to transistion to the 40 campaign and you bring along the same army or at least give a choice. Instead it went to the fall of France and the looped back to Eban-Emael. The 40 campaign did the same thing...is this a bug or is it just the what is included in the beta?

2) The "what if" scenario of spoils of war...while interesting should not be in the campaign as it would kick off a war with the USSR and that's just not right for accuracy. However, please include it as a stand alone scenario as it is interesting.

3) Unless there are going to be massive multiple scenarios for the Ussr/USA/UK invasions wayyyyyy toooo much time was spent on Poland. Three tops for that country. Norway, Low countries and France are perfect for scenarios.

4) LOVED the capture Giraud scenario and the defensive stands where you win with out having to capture all the objectives. That was the main thing I didn't like about the panzer generals 2 and 3's no defensive stands.

forgot one more thing

In the Giraud scenario the capture exit locations need to be marked better. I lost 3 turns trying to find them and barely made it out. I was starting to accept a loss and chalk it up to a bug but I read some other comments in the Forum and see that I am not alone.

#1 This is the temporary UI to enable playing the campaigns. There will be improvements in this regard so don't worry there. :)
#2 The briefing explains why its just a skirmish and not all out war (Russians invited you to fight as a trial), but im glad to hear you do enjoy the scenario. It is very touchy with regards to history, but then it is being offered as an optional bonus mission, just like Dunkirk, for people who cant stomach the blow to historical accuracy. ;)
#3 That is the plan, roughly 14 scenarios per year, so Russia is looking to have... 70 scenarios? 41, 42, 43, 44, 45.
#4 It is a common request, let me see about this...

I just want to comment that i'm actually pleased with the number of scenario's in Poland. They give you the opportunity to get into the spirit of things. Secondly, there were very interesting battles during the Poland Campaign, and a few times a close call for the Germans. It is very nicely incorporated into the Grand Campaign. You won't hear any complaints from me.

nikivdd, please don't get me wrong...I REALLY liked the Poland scenarios...I was just concerned that there may have been too much compared to the significance that the Polish campaign played historically, however I am also assured that this will not be the case so I'm good. I am an avid PG player and I'm absolutely thrilled that Panzer Corps has been released.
Just to showcase how much I am enjoying this....I have been playing strategy/war games for 20 years now, my first game was Civilization (the first one on disk format) and my computer was a Tandy with 512mb memory :D and this is the FIRST time I have ever posted (though I read them religiously).
Keep up the good work Slitherne!
