So now the release date is pushed back again?....Why even post a release date when the past four have been incorrect? Now its late Jan. of 2012....seriously ? I've purchased 10+ games from Matrix and 4 from slitherine...at about $30 per game average...but I guess my opinion doesnt really matter ?

Why don't you read the posts you create.
viewtopic.php?t=28054

And it will be postponed until the time it's finished for release.

What exactly would you have us do?

Release the game when it is not ready? If the developer tells us the game is not going to be ready until January are you saying we should say "no - release it tomorrow like you said, I don't care if it doesn't work!" or work with them to keep the time line as short as possible while ensuring the quality.

There is nothing more to say on this really. We know you're not happy. Starting a new thread will do nothing other than waste time for the team to deal with the rant. We wont release the game until it is ready and we are happy no matter what people say. In fact we wont be responding any more to avoid wasting time on it.

Keep doing what your doing! Hoi3 was released full of bugs and it took about 3 patches to even be able to play multi-player. Then on top of all of that, toughness and defensiveness was hosed and there was absolutely no reason to research either. It is still a fun game, but a shadow of what it could have been. We don't want that here.

You said it – but some people just do not understand that.

I thought we crossed that bridge a long time ago, ‘just keep on moving forward at your own pace’, a great game is worth the wait. However, having said that, I am starting to lose interest in a game I have watched and waited for on the Matrix site for the last 4-years.

We did cross it........ many times. But some people just have to keep singing the same old song.

I sure do understand the frustration and ease to lose interest in the game after all this time.... But, like you said, I think it is worth the wait.

Just got finished posting how I couldn't even think about getting Unity of Command (addiction to games you see).

But this sort of game is something I have lamented didn't really exist for years. It would be nice to pick something up like this. Individual blokes, but the calm pace of turns. The thrill of Close Combat titles, none of the pathing crap of RTS designs.

Pity it might not be ready for Christmas. But then, I don't expect to be allowed to buy anything sooner than my birthday next March any ways :) (sorry for the impatient, I simply can't help ya).

If you manage to score a release in time for Valentines I won't mind though hehe.

Nice over all set of games. This for squad level, BBC BA for platoon and company level and Panzer Corps for theatre operational.

I’m with you. And that is what you will get in Team Assault.
I can’t stand RTS games but want that squad tactics intensity. Well, look no farther – here it is.
:D

Don't be sorry for your impatience. We take it a compliment :)

We're aiming for a January release (this time) so let's hope you have for Valentines then.

Slight typo there on yer part, I wrote 'sorry for the impatient' ideally I meant, I feel for those in a hurry, but I can wait :)

But I don't mind it if you strive for earlier than March :)

Oh, my bad, I'm too impatient to read carefully these days :P
