I have an Aztec army and have a question around the maximum numbers of troops for ally generals.
Is the max restricted to the ally, or the particular ally general?
For example, the Aztecs can have up to 2 Triple Alliance Ally generals.
The maximum number of Military Societies bases in the list is 12. Is this limit per ally general or a finite limit regardless of whether you have one or two ally generals from the Triple Alliance?
If the answer is in the list/rules, my applogies, but I haven't been able to find it quickly.

The answer is in the list itself in the pre-amble. Any list you are considering really requires that you read this bit as that is where some of the restrictions are posted, both in ancients and renaissance.

Thanks - Why oh why do I see what is obvious when I couldn't before?
Anyway, if I'm reading this correctly, then each Triple Alliance Ally Gen can have a max of 12 Military Societies bases, BUT the CinC will have that number deducted from the max in the main list.
So....1 x ally gen with 12 bases of mil.socs will leave the CinC with a max of 24 bases.
If I've got this horribly wrong, please let me know.

That's correct. The Fog people use this system with many of the army lists.
