Since a few days I have this "cadre" around the game, even though I never checked windowed mode. I also see the task bar and am able to actually resize the screen with my mouse. The game was perfectly ok before, so I'm stumped as I don't see any obvious way to resolve this. The settings in the launcher are still showing 1920*1200 at 32bits per pixel. Any tips on how to reset the display to the real full screen mode? The only change I may have performed around the time things started to act up was install El Condoro's Red Dawn campaign and the generic campaign tool.

I should mention that I patched the game to 1.01 way before that and never had any issues.

In teh settings in game select window mode and then deselect and it shodul fix the issue. We've not found out why it sometimes happens - seems to effect XP users only.

Yup, windows XP, happens to me on a regular basis. Game will automatically change to window mode.
Just toggle it back and forth in the menu and it will go back to full screen mode. Annoying but not the end of the world.

Nope Iain & Kerensky happended to me on W7 also.

But could be fixed as described above.

Edit: 64bit, if that's of importance

Happens on Windows 7-64 as well. No idea why it happens sometimes, found no pattern so far.
