Hi. Game looks really interesting but I have some questions if you don't mind.

1. Does this game have LAN multiplayer?

2. I'm interested in ancient Greece battles. I thought of buying FOG digital and then Immortal Fire, but checking the list of scenarios, I see maybe I would prefer Rise of Rome, because Rise of Rome has the Marathon battle (?).

Do I have to buy the three products?

I hope not because game seems already expensive but with expansions...

There is no LAN multi-player. You can play scenarios multi-player with hot seat or using the on-line server. DAG multi-player games have to be played using the Slitherine server.

You should strongly consider getting both the IF and the RoR expansions. This will let you to choose armies from the period you are interested in and to play multi-player. If you just want to get a feel for the game, buy the base game and try the scenarios that come with it. It now also includes one Roman and one Carthaginian army for DAG games so you can experiment with DAG play on line. If you are only going to get one expansion, IF would get my vote over RoR especially since you now have a Roman and a Carthaginian army in the basic game.

Hot seat is so 1990 it's out of question and for my needs I would have to buy two sets of FOG + IF + ROR -> 180 $?

No, you buy the base game only once and then any of the expansions that you like. Plus there are a lot of player-made scenarios that you can download from the forum too.

When you buy the games together you also get a discount.
