1.6 update almost makes it playable on my Android Tablet

I can use "Splashtop HD" app on my tablet to remote into my main pc that has BA installed. I run it at 1024x768.
The one-button option now in Battlefield 1.6 seems to make it more playable for selection and actions........but I still can't move the view screen properly. (ie the edge detection of the screen left and right doesn't seem to usually work).

I wish there was an option for an overlay for the edges of the screen.....so that pushing (ie clicking) would move that direction. Does that make sense?

Heh - sounds like you ran into the same issues that I did with the iPad version.

I'll see if it's possible to use the code that I have for that to add a 'pull scroll' to the PC. The only issue is that some other PC logic (e.g. deployment) also requires you to drag things (I'm still dealing with that on the iPad).

It's not going to be something for a ton of people (I wonder how many are using VNC-esque to play the game?! Although I did try it with WoW once, but had the same problem with the right mouse button) but we do aim to please!

Cheers

Pip

Appreciate the help !
Dragging around to move would be fantastic.....but I understand it would be more complicated due to conflicts with other actions.
Thats why I was thinking just an optional frame/bar around the edge of the screen we can click to move that direction would be handy. I'm no programmer so have no idea how hard it would be.
Thinking about it more...how about just an optional overlay compass type symbol in a corner that we use like a d-pad to move.

I assume since I can picture it in my head, it should be a snap :)
