25mm FOGR Tournaments?

Before FOG-Am and FOGR, the HMGS East conventions ran many successful 25mm DBM and DBR tournaments. With the advent of FOG, I see fewer 25mm players, in fact for FOGR we have none. I let people bring 25mm 650pt lists and if both players have 25mm lead allow them to play these armies instead of their 15mm, just for the WOW (not World of Warcraft!) factor. However, I'd be curious if there would be enough support to run an actual 25mm tournament in the future? Do people use their old 25mm lead at home at all? Thanks.

For what its worth Blathergut and I only play in 25mm. However my old Ren stuff was 20mm plastics and Blathergut was not interested in going there so we both went Warlord 28mm plastics. I don't own any 15mm armies, smallest I ever went was 20mm based and played as if they were 25mm

Are you guys in the US? Do you come to the HMGS-East conventions? I am trying to see if anyone but the Old Guard 9and we are getting older) would play in a 25mm tournament.

Canadians and also of the nearly ancient variety. I used to go to Historicon with Pulp Figures but not in recent years. We tend to stick to our close to home conventions where it is all 15mm too, so we dont enter them either.

In Chicago we're sticking with 25s, but I don't think anyone from here is planning on going to Fall In.

What about Cold Wars? It's 4 days and I am thinking of doing some 25mm FOGR games on thursday using 650points, more like friendly games than a tournament. The big figs attract onlookers. I hope you will all make the trek.
