Bow Cavalry Missile POA Vs Unprotected Bow Cavalry

Hi,

When pointing to shoot missiles with an Average, Drilled, Steady Cavalry armed with Bow and Sword to an unprotected Cavalry with Sword and Bow the +1 POA reads +1 Lb/Bo/Ja/Sl attacing Pr. La. Cv. However the target is not a Cavalry Lancer and it's not protected.

Shouldn't have to read unprotected Cavalry or something?

That sounds like a bug and you should have a 0 POA vs unprotected bow, sword cavalry. Probably better to post this in the support forum with a screenshot if you can.

Vs unprotected cavalry (other than unprotected lancers) we should have +1 POA. That's Ok. What should be reading different is the description I think.

Bows, slings, javelins should be even against all cavalry except protected and unprotected lancers. They should be +POA vs protected lancers and ++POA vs unprotected lancers.

Vs unprtected cav (not lancers) you also have +POA.

Just a question for my understanding....

Why should missiles do better against lancers rather than against other cavalry? What's the rationale for this decision?

Cheers,

A compromise between the PC game and the tabletop. We have assumed that lancers remained ranked up ready to charge where as other cavalry are allowed to form skirmish formations so are harder targets. Keith
