How and where are plugins installed

Hi,
I am new to this so as the topic says where do I install plugins like Amaris's random map generator?

To some extent Ama' plugin is a proof of concept - plugins can only (currently) be dropped into the main game install, which is of course not recommended. I'm working on user plugins, but they are quite complex to handle (do we have a global set, and in that case, how do we install/version them, etc).
So you'll need to drop in the plugin to the game install PLUGINS folder, but bear in mind that it's not officially supported as yet

I don't want to disuade anyone from trying them out, just letting you know that they should be treated (to some extent) as experimental.
