Can't reinstall from disks.

I am switching to a new machine, and I'm trying to load FOG on to the new machine from my Plimus backup disk. When I try, I get the error: The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running.

Both my old machine and my new machine are 64 bit machines runnin Windows 7. I was able to load Panzercorps from disk (not a Plimus disk though) with no problems.

Thoughts?

Sorry you are having problems. I've never heard fo this issue before. Have you used the disks before? What do you see if you navigate to the disks in explorer? Can you copy the installer across?

You can navigate to the disk just fine. When I click on it I see two folders, one called Field of Glory, and the other Images. In the Field of Glory folder there is an application, and that is the only file, called field_of_glory_1.3.3. It is tagged as an application. When I double click on that application I get the same error. Same result when I copy the file across.

I have never used these disks before. I bought them as a backup after the last time my computer crashed and I had to repurchase and redownload all of the games.

So I tried to do an install from the disk on my old computer, where my downloaded copy of FOG still works fine, and I got the same error. The problem appears to be in the Plimus disk. Is there any way to reaccess my old download?

Any more thoughts on this or am I out of luck? After investing the extra money in the the disk backups the last time I had to rebuy the whole series, I'm not really excited to drop $200 or so to rebuy the whole series for a third time because the disks don't work.
