Was there a change in resupply in 1.01?

........ Or have I just not noticed this before???
Played a MP game that was started with 1.0 and never notice resupply working like this before.
Several units of mine were either at 1 or zero with ammo. There were only one or two enemy units adjacent to mine at most. I did the normal resupply button and it added 1 or 2 to their strength as always, but no ammunition was added.
I was sure that if you resupply and get something added to your strength you also got something added to your ammo as well. obviously not as much with an enemy unit next to you, but still something.

No change to supply I'm aware of. If you have a low total ammo (4) unit with 2 enemy units blocking supply, I think that situation creates the event where a unit can receive reinforcements but no actual ammunition.

Hhmmm --- I just have never seen that before. Maybe because I don’t usually allow my units to get that low on ammo.

That's news to me too.
I've always assumed that you get resupplied when reinforcing. Specifically, that there are no cases when pressing "resupply" gives more fuel/ammo than when pressing "reinforcements".
I like how this keeps the game simple; that reinforcements is always a superset of resupply. (Otherwise you would conceivably have to make a decision whether to reinforce or resupply every time)
Of course, if you can get reinforcements in a situation where resupply is impossible, that would be all right. In other words, if the resupply button is dark and inactive, then it's fully OK to offer reinforcements without ammo/fuel.
Just as long as I don't lose out on supplies just because I'm choosing reinforcements. That might be more realistic, but it would also introduce a major decision point that often would make the game significantly more complex.

I most likely wouldn’t have even noticed this time if it wasn’t for the fast that it was three units in a row. All were the Russian’s SU-1**. Which do all have a max ammo of 4 (as Kerensky mentioned).
Just odd that if you get 1 or 2 in strength – I would think you should get at least 1 or 2 in ammo.
Oh well… Lesson learned.

Maybe because I don’t usually allow my units to get that low on ammo.
Well that IS certainly strange to me... since I find it rare that my units are NOT getting low on ammo.
Unless it's during rain and we are talking about my airforce here.. (haha).

Are you sure you clicked the resupply and not the reinforcements button? Because before the patch I noticed the same thing while playing the urban warfare map as the Soviets. There were one or two instances where I received a few reinforcements but no ammo at all. Unlike using the resupply button, the reinforcements button doesn't show the ammo that will be replenished (iirc, because I can't verify that right now).
Edit: This was also with SU-*** units.

From the manual page 14, “Replacements: use the turn to replace casualties with recruits. It also adds some supply.”
And I’m 100% positive I clicked the Replacement button.

Almost cries for a screenshot or upload of the savegame if you don't mind.
Maybe really something is wrong and not working as intended. And maybe someone can test what would happen in Panzer Corps 1.0.

Yes it does. But sad to say that was a MP game so there isn’t any “proof” in the form of a saved game.
That is except for that fact that it happened to 3 units in a row. If it was 1 – yeah, maybe I did a wild click someplace. 2 – Ok, sure I’ll let you have that one too. But by the 3rd time I was keeping a sharp eye on it – so I don’t think so.
It surely can be as Kerensky said above – but I would think after all the hundreds of hours played that someone (including myself) would have noticed it by now.
