Servus,
While i'm waiting for Panzer Corps (native) for my IMAC, i want to buy "Military History Commander - Europe at War" for Mac.

There are some things i want to know before:

1. Is there really no boxed Version on the Market?
2. Is the one for MAC only in english language or can i change it into german?
3. When i purchase the Version - above mentioned - is GS automatic "on" or can i choose, whether i want to play the original or the gs? (i would love to play on after 1945 and just read, that this is not yet possible with gs)
4. Where is the Artillery?

Thanks for your assistance.

ps: Your doing great with your games!
pps: Please speed up with the MAC Version of Panzer Corps :D
ppps: Hopefully this is the right place to post this (?)

To answer your questions
1) No there is no boxed version currently. We hope to add it at some point.
2) It is English only
3) GS is not automatically included. You need to grab the free download and then you are able to choose whether to play the original game or GS.
4) Artillery is modelled as part of a unit. It is part of the shock attack value. Infantry can upgrade the artillery through research and upgrading new techs to boost their shock attack. At the scale we are modelling aretillery did not exist as a unit on its own, only as an attachment to a corps/army.

If you like the Mac check out BBC Battle Academy and its 2 expansions set in WW2. This released last week for Mac and is going down a storm :) We also have Field of Glory & 5 expansions on Mac if you prefer ancient warfare.

Now i am confused...

I klicked on the buy-botton, while i chose MAC before. Next i am asked, whether i want to buy Commander: Napoleon also. And then there it is: there it says that "this product is also available on CD"!!! Now what? True or not?

And if its true and i make that chose, can i download the game anyway or do i have to wait for the postman? :)

If i could download the MAC version AND get it on CD later - THAT would be awesome!! :D

Thanks again for your help.

A backup CD option is available for these games but its not a box, just a CD in a sleeve so I didnt really count that. Make sure you get teh right game - there is Commander Europe and Commander Napoleon. One is WW2 one Napoleonic.

Anyway enjoy :)
