Wanting to buy a 15mm painted army

I'm starting out, so not that fussed. As long as I can field 800pts plus some options.

It may be useful to give a rough period, quality of painting, approx price you are willing to pay, where it would be being posted too etc.

period I'm not fussed on, as I figure over time I'll want to have variety anyway. I am going to buy swiss figures to paint up if I dont get one pre-painted.
quality of painting - tabletop standard. I'm not looking for an award winning army (due to my budget).

$ wise, I'm not sure what the going rate is? Budget is prob up to $400.

Gave it some thought.
If I had an abundance of choice, something with elephants in it, or Byzantine or crusader periods, or vikings. 15mm

However if you have a bit of patience you can pick up exactly what you want for a lot less by picking and mixing and building up your army slowly.
However you could design your army and then try one of the figure painting services, there's a few about and again most advertise on e-bay

About £2 a figure all in (casting, basing, flags, everything) but worth it if you have the money.

There's always loads on ebay. Don't just look on your home country site. I sell lots on ebay and probably about half of it goes overseas.
You can get some good bargains, but a complete average painted 800 points army will normally go for about £150 - £250.
