Cancel a Move?

I've searched on here and in the manual(s). If you move a unit in error, can you cancel the move? I don't see a way to do it, but then again I'm good at not seeing the forest because of the trees.....

There is no way to cancel the unit move other, then reloading the entire turn.

Thanks, that's what I thought!

It would be too gamey in a turn-based game with fog of war. It's already a problem in PBEM to a limited extent, because you can reload your turn many times.

But you can undo move in many games. This should be possible for units that did not reveal any FOW hex (typical movement of units within friendly territory).

In such cases - yeah, maybe.

I agree. Once I clicked on the Leningrad Unit and inadvertantly moved it back towards Russia. A disaster in the making!

I would like to see movement handled a bit more as it is in Panzer Corps where you can move a unit, then move another, then go back to the first unit and attack if you choose to. Don't like the fact that once you "take your hand off the piece" you can no longer move it. Especially if I attack and destroy a unit, then try to decide whether I can advance another unit into the vacated hex or not, it would be helpful to go back to the initial unit and advance if no other nearby units can advance into the hex.

I've thought about this one to and decided that the system forces you to carefully plan the order of your moves, which I suppose is right for a Grand Strategy game, which should not be too tactical. However, it is frustrating when you get it wrong.
