Naval Transport movement rates

I'm getting weird results.

I have a Panzer IVG that when clicked shows that it can move 6 hexes while the "landing craft / Sea Transport" is showing that it can move only 4.

Is this by design, or a bug?

I've saved a screenshot of it.

Where should I send this screenshot?

This is correct. They are two different units. They have different movement rates.

Strangely enough, though, if a PzIV in a landing craft has a movement hero it will add that movement to the landing craft, too.

Razz1, I think you misunderstand me, the landing craft shows that it's movement is 4, but the screen shows that it can move 6. I guess there must be a hidden hero?

You can see heroes under the Battle History tab. Hover over the portrait to see what bonus each hero grants.

As you can see, movement bonus heroes affect the movement of transports they are embedded into as well.

As far as I know other bonuses (defence most importantly) carry over as well.

I believe this is because you wrote...

...instead of, say, something like:
I have a Panzer IVG unit loaded onto sea transport that moves 6 hexes while the "landing craft / Sea Transport" is showing that it can move only 4.
It's easy to see why Razz assumed you were talking about the IVG's land movement rate, and it follows that he assumed you thought different land units would retain their different land speed even when on sea transports.

Cheers! :)

This is all working as intended, heroes affect the unit they are attached to, even in said unit is in any type of transport.

so if you load +3 move tank unit to a boat, the boat also gets +3 moves? That's pretty neat, but should clearly be indicated in unit info.

None of the Bonus stats from Heroes is reflected on the Unit data at the moment.
This is a known issue and will hopefully be rectified at some point.

Isn't the beta patch out? fixed in patch?

As Iain said, this was mostly a technical support patch, not a content or new feature patch, so no, hero bonuses do not have unit stat representation yet.
