Damn I need to get back into shape, been away from the game for a while and I am totally out of practice.

Just got my ass handed to me on a platter.

Warning to the wise, this isn't the entry level campaign hehe.

Kudos to all that brought us this expansion.

I'll confess that my initial try at the first mission lulled me into thinking I was doing well, then roundly trounced me.

Then again, my detailed knowledge (i.e. Sean Connery told me) of the operation seems to indicate it wasn't a walkover .

I hear you DS. It seems that every third or fourth battle after the North African campaign has been a ball buster. Judging from what I've played thus far, to say nothing of WW2 history, I expect the Market Garden expansion to be over-the-top difficult. Shame on Monty for getting his elite airborne troops in to such a pickle!

Oh well, back to my latest 'Kobayashi Maru' mission - the Polish defense of that hill in the Falaise battle.

Was doing great until I hit Arnhem Bridge Counter Attack mission # 5. All those casaulties on the carryover units are killing me!
