Scenario editor improvements/suggestions

I have been messing around with the editor a bit and I dare say there's plenty of room for improvements. (I'm not saying it's bad, not at all, it's a fine, easy-to-use thing, but there's lots of space left for new tiles, new options, etcetera).
I figured it would be nice to get a big thread dedicated to improving the editor. As to make it easier for the developers to track bugs and investigate future improvements.
My own experiences:
- There are 4 bocage tiles, but only 1 is used to generate the terrain. I was making an adaptation of the St-Lo map from PG2, which is pretty much filled with bocage tiles. The map looked rather boring at first cause all the bocage looked the same (tile #2). I then manually made the terrain more diverse by using the different bocage overlays.. (but then I wanted to fix a river, generated anew and *wham* all the old bocage tiles back *AAAAAHHHHH*).
- It would be nice to be able to rotate overlays of tiles. Especially roads and rivers.
That's all I can think of right. Feel free to add
