Hi,

Wasn't railroading to be impossible on the first turn you are DoWed on? In our game with peterfrigade he DoWed on Soviets in turn 32 with fair weather all around. The Ruskies were surprised and suffered the morale loss. But they could still rail unit during their first turn.

Maybe I remember incorrectly how this was supposed to work or there is a bug somewhere.

I've always been able to rail Russians on turn 1 of Barbarossa. My understanding is that the prohibition on rail on turn 1 of an invasion only applies to minors. So, as the axis, you need to get adjacent to his corps and mech units to prevent them from being whisked away.

I think this concerns minor countries not Major Powers

This applies only to minor powers who get a surprise penalty on the first turn. So if you attack during mud or winter then the minor power can rail on the first turn. This was added when we introduced minor power rail networks.
