I would like to humbly apologise to anyone I may have upset on this forum over the years and to admit that I am usually, nay almost always wrong

He's only saying that he'd like to apologise, not that he is apologising.

Perhaps he doesn't know how?

Dave,

You've not offended me; and I've always appreciated the deep insight into FoG that you have brought to the forum.

Suspect his account has been hacked
Surely anybody who hacked his account would have tried something more credible to start with...

That really made me laugh out loud - my wife gave me an odd look and asked what was so funny.

If the next 46 posts are defending the indefensible and/or about odd defintions of evade rules we know it has not been hacked, else...

I've sussed it! He is going to post one message to everyone he has upset, so overtaking Powell's count of posts...

Having thought about it and looking at the time, it was almost certainly Powell.

So it wasn't you then? I assumed it was because you had access to my PC at around that time on Friday morning.

How could you blame a fellow team member that had to share the hardship and then glory of Lisbon with you?

And anyway the fact that you may have been in the shower at the time of the alleged offence is just circumstantial, it won't stand up in court.

In fact I would put it to our honourable friends on this forum that you did indeed have a moment of conscience and did apologise after feeling the full force of guilt over what you have put them through.

But that wouldn't stand up in court either.

See........ I said it was the body-snatcher's at work

However it does not stop the truth of the statement that Dave "said" ......I am usually, nay almost always wrong.

( Phil could you not change his signature to "My name is Dave and everything I said is Bollocks" )
