Please fix unintentional advance

Time and again, I attack and destroy a unit and advance without intending to advance. Can ruin a strategy.

Please make it so this does not happen, allow for some delay or somehow separate the action.

What do you mean? Your units will only advance if you 'tell' them to by clicking on a target hex. I don't understand what you mean here.

And you can undo the move if you dont select a new unit.

You are double clicking.

It must be that. Seems sometimes when I make an attack, the unit advances, and if the advance discovers other units nearby, hitting "undo" is not an option.

I must be double clicking or something. I'm convince this is what happened to the Germans at Stalingrad. Paulus was a notorious double clicker in real life and had his army advance when he didn't mean to. "Oh crap, I did not mean to advance into that city."

Might be a mouse malfunction.

I only 'accidentally' advance when I doubleclick.

I think if they just eliminated that double click, would solve a lot of problems. Really sucks when your artillery unintentionally advances in truck form to the front.

The General that wins the battle is the one is the one that makes the least amount of mistakes.
