Upgrade Price?

I noticed on the predeployment/upgrade/reinforce prior to the next battle in the scenario, there is no price indicator for infantry and tanks. The base infantry, upgraded to any other infantry lists only the price of buying a new infantry and as well as tanks unless its the PzII to the new PzII. Is this because of the difference class of infantry /tanks? I saw no upgrade table or unit list.

This should help you understand the upgrade system. :)
impar wrote:What follows is a list of the family trees ingame that allow for cheaper upgrades. It may be considered a spoiler.
For example, upgrading a Wehrmacht (127 prestige) unit to Grenadier (167 prestige) costs only 40 prestige (167-127), upgrading to Gebirgsjager (127 prestige) costs 127 prestige as it is on another family tree.

Infantry
- Wehrmacht and Grenadiers, both the initial versions and the 43 kind.
- Pioniere and Pioniere 43.
- Fallschirmjagers and Fallschirmjagers 43.
- Gebirgsjagers and Gebirgsjagers 43.

Tanks
- Panzer I family.
- Panzer 38(t)A to Panzer III family. Probably a bug!
- Panzer III family.
- Panzer IV family.
- Panther family.

Artillery
- Towed traditional artilley family, the 7.5, 10.5, 15, 17 and 21 field guns.
- Towed rocket artillery, the Nebelwerfers.
- Sturmpanzer I, sIG 38, Wespe and Hummel.
- Stug IIIB, StuH 42 and StuG IV.

Fighters
- Me109 family.
- Fw190A and Fw190D. No Ta152?

Tactical bombers
- Stuka family, the Ju87 models.
- Me110 family plus Me410.
- Fw190F and Fw190G.

Strategic bombers
- Ju88 and Ju188.
- He111 and He 177.
- Do17 and Do217.

Anti-tank
- Towed panzerkanone family, 3.7, 5, 7.5 and 8.8 Pak.
- Stug IIIG, Stug IIIF and Stug IIIF/8.
- Panzerjager IV family, the Nashorn, JagdPz IV/40 and JagdPz IV/78. Funny, since Nashorn used a mix of PzIII and PzIV chassis.
- Marder II family.
- Marder III family, includes the Hetzer even if the chassis is based on Pz38(t)!

Air-defence
- Towed flugabwehrkanone (flak) family, from the 2cm to the 12.8cm.
- Half-tracked air-defense family, 10/4, 7/1 and 7/2.
- Full-tracked air-defense family, Ostwind, Mobelwagen, Gepard and Wirbelwind.

Recon
None. 8Rad would make some sense, but...

This is great information! Is the Panzer '38 relation to the Panzer III's truly considered a bug that will be changed in the future? I liked to have one or two of the Czech tanks in my early campaigns and I appreciated their upgradeability. Frankly, it would nice if there was more incentive to buy some of the Panzer I's and II's since they represented the bulk of the historical forces.

There was no relation between Pz38 and PzIII, one is a czech engineered and built tank, the other is a german engineered and built tank.
