Posting armies

Hello,
I'm part of another BB style forum dealing with the conflict between 1939-1945.

On that site, there is a topic for posting pictures of ones armies. Since AoW is well into the play-test stage and since Slitherine is at least passively going after the newbie to miniature gaming, I propose a topic is started for posting pictures of ones armies. Modeling questions are bound to follow and we are already seeing posts on the need to rebase. Well if I was coming into this hobby clean, I could get a little put off without a visual to go by when acquiring my first lead.

I'll have a go...Nope that didn't work.
How do you post pictures?
I've put the files on Picassa, and tried using the [IMG] tag, but it just shows the tag literally, and no picture...

yep that worked.
I have a free account with photobucket.
www.photobucket.com
When you set up your account and upload your pictures there will be 3 boxes underneath which you can use to cut/paste you files.
You will need to use some sort of web-sharing site like photobucket. Not sure how much band-width this actually takes. The moderators may need to cull this in order to set up some filters.
Anywas, this picture is my camp scene from Flavius Ardabur Aspar and his puppet emporer Marcien informing Attilia's messenger they will not be receiving their annual pay-off.

Make sure you use both [ & ] when surrounding your address. I first tried that and neglected the opening bracket.

Yeah, like I said, I've put the files on picassa, which is a similar thing to photobucket. I've copied the links it gives, and the links work fine when put into another web site...
I'm not sure I know what you mean by 'use the [ & ]', though.
I thought that the idea was that the image URL went between [img]and[/img] tags?

Yes, exactly.
Though I just tried uploading 7 or 8 pictures and I think I caused an overload.

IIRC the Constantiniani are the ones in the middle.

thanks Richard.
I've edited the photo. The way the photos work you don't get to see the picture till you submit the post.
I was a little nervous I broke the bb, as my first attempt at posting these failed. I had visions of an angry Scotsman hunting me down

Charles le T?©m?©raire, Duke of Burgundy.
Followed by some photos I have in Flickr of elements of the 15 mm army, though not of whole BGs.

Generals (Charles mounted on the left). In AOW they probably will be knights.
All the dismounted generals. Now needed for Dismounted knights as well.
Men-at-arms in column.
Foot (including DBM Bow X that I will have to do something about)
Artillery. I have too many of them.
What were extras in DBM and that now I have to strengthen...
