Error Message pop-up in ETE game Castillon

The following message popped up in the ETE game Castillon, around the fourth or fifth turn, with a request to refer it to tech help. When I closed the popup, FoG then exited the game and gave me the menu. Upon restoring the game, the pop-up returned and the program again closed down the game. The cut and pasted message follows:
