Are these forums slow for anybody else?

Getting frequent times outs here and very slow loading pages took me 5 mins just to log in.
From the uk using firefox and chorme

Very , very slow - frustation !!! I use DSL 18000 - but this forum reminded me on my analog times in the 90s.

Today has seem to be a bit slower than normal

Thankfully, with the upgrade of Sltiherine/Matrix system, our connection issues will be solved.

The PBEM server is under a lot of stress at the moment though.
If you see upload errors, just retry. An Error 23 means the upload did complete.
If you get a login error, just retry, you will get in eventually.
We are addressing this in two ways. First, we are upgrading the PBEM server to a much better system. That's schedule for later in August. Second, a new public beta will be out next week for WITE that does a better job of managing the errors.
There's no reason to stop playing though. I have a PBEM game ongoing and we've been playing through the occasional error messages and login problems.

I strongly suspect the PBEM server is at least somehow related to the forums. Even if they are unrelated, if one is being taxed, it is not an outrageous assumption that another, separate system would also be under strained of increased used.
