New avatars vs the old ones

How about allowing us to choose the old avatars? I love the new ones, but the Legion ones have a lot of sentimental value...

Upgrading our forum system is definitely there on the long, long list of improvements we would like to make, but for now the system isn't very flexible. Sorry.
