Here is a scenario i made for Germany. It is called The corridor of Danzig.
It was designed as a single player map.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/8pj522 (v0.2) update 16/08/11
http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2883257 (v0.3) update 05/09/11. Updated by Razz! Thanks a lot

Extract under \documents\my games\panzer corps\scenario
If you don't have the scenario folder, you need to create one.
Start the game, choose scenario, then click on custom and you should find Danzig scenario there.
In this scenario you start with 75 units

Hi Niki,
looks good your 1st scenario !
Its not hisitorical, but its interesting.
Some critics:
1. In polish corridor on 1st to 5th sepember 1939 attacks only Guderians XIX. tankcorps with only the 3rd tank division without Pz38(t) only the most PzII , Pz I and some PzIII and IV.
2. This attack is west of Tucheler Heide and the polish troops attack the motorized regiment from the northeast and block them at Groß-Klonia !
3. The polish forces had no armoured trains here, no 7TP only two companys with TK3 and the Pomorza Elite Cavalry Brigade and 2 and 1/2 infantry division and the marine troops from Gdynia and Sopot.
one of 7 maps for this battle:

Could you announce it in the sticky SP maps, please?
Thanks

Translation something like this. Titles and names should be clarified.

Everybody has different ideas about scenario making. Some want it historical, others just for the challenge and not necessarily historical. I remember the fun i had while playing hypothetical scenario's in PG and AG.
And definately the custom campaigns for PG. FG could not fall back on military maps or books but nonetheless it was quite a thrill to play

.
To me it is all about having fun in making a map, placing the units and testing. And then sharing it with others.

No offense, but I did not like the scenario. He lacks the "action" and is not the legendary Blitzkrieg
(with flanking rounds and strikes against the rears of the enemy army.)
Manage a large number of units (and not in accordance with history), why do something exciting
"strategically important town" Hel and Jastamia (what is their strategic importance and that the
change in the war, if they do not take 2 weeks and a year later? )
IMHO: A good scenario is not just a map with troops her placed. A good scenario is first and
foremost - an interesting idea, even a kind of story. That's something like that.
PS: Sorry for bad english.

Interesting. Can you give me an example of your idea for a scenario from the vanilla campaign?
Or a scenario made by yourself?
I don't mind "constructive criticism" at all, then i can learn something.

I think the best example scenario with a pronounced blitzkrieg is Barbarossa.
The defensive line of the enemy at the beginning of the battle, 2 - 3 directions
for the main strikes, the ability to quickly pull support from the nearby direction,
the operational space to maneuver.
After the break, the opponent is trying to form a new defensive line, but it's too
late - the tanks rush forward. That's what I call "blitzkrieg".

Changed this scenario somewhat as a first mission of the new campaign.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/8pj522
Changed some panzers to PzIVD.
Removed the armoured trains..
Enemy counterattack is very likely.
I had the impression that the spearheads are advancing quicker now.

I tested your updated scenario.
I personal think the map is way too big and there are too many units. So you spend the most time moving your units. This makes the scenario boring. Reduce the size to a half or a third.
My score 5 of 10.
I like your Italien campaign much more.

Thanks for your honest opinion (and score). I must say at least it was an interesting learning experiment.

Enjoying the Corridor

Enjoying all your efforts. Small maps or larger, historical or just challenging. Keep up the efforts.
A couple turns into the scenario and the Polish AI is putting up a good defense so far.

16 Turns for a win at the Colonel level. I enjoyed the large map and the choices on where to allocate forces and effort. Manuvering my forces was not undesriable for my style of play.
Very good map and scenario.

Thank you, much appreciated.
This would have been the first scenario of a campaign, but due to negative comments and historical critics, i decided not to pursue.

Perhaps you will make more scenarios later on when you've learnt more about what makes for good scenarios?
By the way; please disregard the "historical critics" entirely. This is a game, and as long as your scenario works as a game, you're fine.
No matter how much you study history, you will always encounter people who knows more. So just accept historical critique as a fact of life, especially when you make WWII-style content.
What you could do next time is to concoct a scenario that never happened in the real war. That's the best way to avoid any realism or history discussions. A scenario where Italy conquers Finland, say, would be so withdrawn from the actual course of the war I think you should be fairly safe against such comments...
Or simply, making up your own names for cities, rivers and such. By not committing to any specific geography there is no historical angle to pursue.

When we're modding, we're risking ourselves in a way, and exposing our work to the judgement of others.
And sometimes that can be rough and even unfair. Unfortunately not all the criticism is constructive.
Sometimes we don't even get a word of appreciation. I'm not complaining, but my sound mod was downloaded around 200 times.
Only half a dozen commented. Is it so bad? Whatever, I'll keep going.
You too, keep going nikki, you see there's always someone who really appreciates our work, and someone who hates it.
