Sorry if this is already answered somehere, but will this game ship with a map editor similar to the one in the Pacific War game?

I do agree with you that we are going to have editor in the game. By using the same we will be able to custom map in the game so there will be lots of fun while playing the game...

Hello, d/l game , up and running. all seems well
However, I dont see any editors in game, nor any referances to same in the manual..
I have a sneaking suspicion the answer is "its coming later in a patch"?

It is still underworks. As soon as it's ready it will availabe as a different download. When? That's up to Doom to say.

It shouldn't be long though

I'm sorry, but if the product page says it comes with an editor, it should ship with one. That, or wait until the package is complete. How would you feel if we paid you 80% of the cost of the game up front? It's just one of my pet peeves. Hell, I'll just edit the text files as I always have.

Yes this is a mistake. The editor should not be on the product page as we ran out of time to complete it. It will be released soon but is not quite ready so we'll get the page amended. Apologies for the confusion. The page was set up about a year ago.

We wanted to include one more functionality to the editor before releasing it, as we have found it will be much better value to the final customer.
Sorry about the confusion, the editor should be ready soon.

The Mouser is right, and I am terribly impatient. As soon as I get a game, I want to start fiddling with it.
But to your credit, you have made it very easy to edit the text files. In fact, that's half the fun for me. And if you are enhancing the functionality of the editor, we are better off waiting.
A few more edits and then I am off to Barbarossa North

You can replace the gfx with anything you would like.
