Nearly all the drilled Byzantine images lookfar more appropriate for a 10th-11th Century Byzantine army than they do for 13-15th century ones. Probably the most obviously anachronistic are the mounted images on barded horses but they all look much more appropriate for a late Thematic or Nikephorian army than for ones after the re-establishment of the Central Byzantine state post 1260. For this later period I would expect the images to show more Turkish and/or Frankish influence for both dress and equipment.

Hi, Actually I think some of the Swords and Scimitars images are better for the later period. We have a few more Byzantine images to add but will review all of them as we do Decline and Fall. Thanks Keith
