Should the game end after decisive victory at D-Day?

Hi
I started the early campaign in Poland and had several decisive victories and som minor victories. But I was very surprised that the game ended after a decisive victory at D-Day, no screen telling me how great I did or anything. Is this a bug?

If you got from Poland to D-Day, you didn't fought that well
I guess you conquered Moscow before? Then after winning D-Day it realy means the end because of a win in the east and peace in the west - but there realy should be an screen informing you about that... maybe realy a bug.

I did conquer Moscow, maybe that was just a victory I don't recall. How do You get on to the US then, if it isn't by winning a decisive victory at Operation Overlord?

@vmantwink, the Campaign tree is in the Library and it shows all the possible paths. The green highlighted entries are if you defeated England and red represents defeating Russia. My guess is that you got a Marginal Victory at Sealion '40 (which means you really didn't defeat the British and they eventually drove you back off the island) and went on a path that took you to Moscow '43. Defeating Russia (red path), you then went to Overlord, defeated the US invasion and beat the campaign.

Thx a lot mate. Not that I think it make much sense, but a least it isn't a bug.
I would recommend Slitherine to work on their END-screen. You put a lot of work and heart in doing a campaign. It would be nice with a summuray or something like that.

I agree with you that it should have a nicer end screen showing a campaign score with a casualty list. Maybe also have a last narration from the German voice over actor praising your campaign victory (and, conversely, berating your loss).
