Can't add more than 7 foot spear even though it says you can have 6-40...hmm went back in and created a new army, it let me load up more but then when I went to adjust and add in a different foot unit it locked up the upper limit, when I adjusted down the qty it set that as the new upper limit...
did some more and it seems when I go to add Almogavar sword it locks the max limit at whatever the number of spear units that have been loaded.

Your limit will be locked if:-
a) You have set a general as a different type of foot spear as the ones selected e.g. 1 and 7 displays. Set the general to the same type as the 7 and you can select up to 40 again.
b) You have no more points to spend.

All spearmen have to be the same weapon and class, including the generals. Fairly certain that is the problem.
