Hey, I got this game about a month ago and just got around to installing it, when I try to install the game I get to the menu with "Install" and "Fourms", that kind of stuff, and when I press install the whole thing crashes. No matter how many times I try it wont work. Help, please.
I have the game in disk form, by the way, and there are no scratches on it as I just opened the thing. I am running Windows 7 and I have a decent computer. :(

Sorry you are having problems.

Please try exploring the disk and copying the large install file to your hard disk and running it from there. It will be on the root of teh disk called something like gbm_v1.02.exe

Which version do you guys have? Is it a retail copy, which country etc? There have been a few issues like this recently and its something we dont normally see so I wonder if there is a pattern.

I just bought Great Battles Medieval today Nov.28, 2011 in San Diego, California...and it won't install in Windows 7. I get the language choice and the Install box with Forums and Slitherine.com. I can hear the disc drive start and whir for awhile, then nothing. I tried copying the big .exe file to the hard drive, but no luck. The disc has Maximum Family Games and the Slitherine logo. Part# 105-1097 is printed in small type on the bottom. The box is Part # 112-1097. There are four groupingings of four numbers for the serial code.
Can you help?

No sooner than I posted, but it started working. It's installed now just fine. I suppose just the mention of a fix by it's creators scared it into working.

Glad it is working but I have no idea what the issue might have been!
