Is there any plans in the future to give a choice between arid and green backgrounds?

Do you mean in the DAG battles? If so i doudt it as that is dependant on what the map creator chose when the map was designed.

Its nice to have a choice of maps... but when Brits play Romans, I do not like playing on the beach.

Would like to see a choice, not just of terrain, but type ie Arid or Green.

Not that it that important, but it would be nice.....

I hear ya, I find I usually play on arid maps where neither nation is a 1000 miles from the desert.... of course, you can always just blame the person who won the initiative and picked the map

Yes, I agree. It is bad enough having my Irish army challenged by the Swiss, but then having to fight them in the desert as well is a bit too surreal really.
